Basis of faith
The Basis of Faith of Street Baptist Church is that of The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. We are committed to these truths of historic, biblical Christianity.
Outreach
We are involved in many activities aimed at trying to reach and support as many people as possible in our community.
Our Sunday Services are open to all. During the week, regular meetings take place where we cater for all age groups.
Leadership and workers
The leadership of Street Baptist Church consists of Pastors, Elders and Deacons, who are ordinary people who rely on God to enable them to lead the church.
History
The Church was established in 1814, with the original building still in use on our present site.
We desire to be a family, empowered by the Holy Spirit, rooted in the Word of God and prayer, whose love for Christ and for one another overflows in joyful sharing of the gospel with all whom God has given us a unique opportunity to reach.
