There’s lots going on
We have a wide range of groups that cover all ages and activities.
Men’s Groups
In a world where men seem to be abandoning faith and disappearing from our churches, and where so many men come under great pressures on their faith which they are so reluctant to talk about, ministry in the church that is particular to men is so vital.
Women’s Groups
With the pressure of singleness, then for many the pressures of home and children with the isolation that this brings, the possibility of coping as a single parent, and the joys and responsibilities of being grand-parents, many women face difficulties that are unique to women and need a particular ministry.
Youth & Children
During the course of a week and on Sundays there are two clubs that youth and children can attend.
Toddlers
The Toddlers group within Street Baptist Church is a vibrant, busy (and sometimes noisy!) group for all those who want to bring along their pre-school children.
Growth Groups
We would like every adult to be part of a Growth Group, and we also provide a Growth Group for older teenagers to grow together in the Lord.
Prayer meetings
Prayer meetings are an opportunity for the fellowship to come together and worship God. The focus is very much on bringing our prayers to God in an open, relaxed format and will often also include a time of sharing a few verses from God’s Word, read aloud from a brother or sister.
