The current sermon series on Sunday mornings is in the book of Mark, entitled "Jesus, suffering saviour"
This short gospel was written by John-Mark, one of the early disciples, as one of the first accounts of the life of Jesus. It was written to people who had little background or understanding of the Bible, and so is a brilliant introduction to who Jesus is, and why He is vital for you and I.

The Psalms are the hymn book of the Bible. However, they are so much more than songs, even than wonderful songs of praise, petition and proclamation. They are the cry of the hearts of men of God over 1500 years, as moved by God's Spirit, that reflect our hearts today. They speak deeply into our experience, and show us how our hearts and lives should respond so that God is glorified in us. They are 'soul songs', songs of glorifying, hurting, laughing, weeping hearts like ours.
