Christmas is about Christ

Christmas can be about so many things.  It can be about the gifts - both those bought for us and those we buy for others.  It can be about family and friends.  It can be about lovely memories.  If can be about the carols we sing.  It can be about the manger scenes, the Christmas plays, the Christmas church services.  All these are great, but they miss the point.

In fact, even when we look at the Christmas stories from the Bible, we can still miss the point.  We can look at the manger, the shepherds, the wise men, Mary and Joseph, Simeon and Anna, Herod, or the Angels.  These are all there in the Christmas story of the Bible.  But they are not the focus.

This series shows that in each passage of the Christmas story God repeatedly points to Christ.  Christmas is all about Christ - the promised Messiah come to earth, sent "when the time had fully come" to be save His people.
