Football

Every two weeks during school term times we hold a football match for men and teenage boys of 14+ (or Year 9 and over) in Strode College Sports Hall.

This is an opportunity for men and lads within SBC, and for their friends or neighbours, to enjoy a light-hearted yet exhausting game of football.

We trust that this will provide an introduction to the church for some, whilst also helping those from within the church to get to know one another much better through sport.  Above all, we hope that the different attitudes towards one another that Jesus gives to us is seen within the way we play our sport together.

Although we recognise that this is an activity primarily of interest to men and lads, we do not make it exclusively male, and so if women would like to come along and play, you are most welcome!
