Each year Street Baptist Church organise and run, with the help of individuals from other churches in Street, a Holiday Bible Club for children of primary school age.
Street Baptist Church is privileged to have had a long history of vibrant youth work, which over many years has included an annual Holiday Bible Club. Many people in Street recall with pleasure the time they spent as children in this holiday club, and now look forward to sending their own children along each year.
The Holiday Bible club normally runs for one week, usually the first week of the summer holidays.
Ship Ahoy! We're going on a cruise!
The 2011 Holiday Bible Club is called "Ship Ahoy". From Tuesday July 26th until Friday July 29th we set sail in Street Baptist Church with 100 children on a great adventure!
During the week we will have so many fun activities, including games, craft, stories, food and refreshments, competitions, prizes and songs.
Come on board, each day, from 10.00am to 11.55am. All children in school years Reception to Year 6 are welcome!
Our evening youth event alongside Holiday Bible Club 2011 is called "Cruise II".
Each evening we gather with 25-35 teenagers for games, activities, chat, interviews and talks. This year the main events of the three evenings were: Pizza evening, Bar-B-Que, Games.
