The whole Israelite community withdrew from Moses’ presence and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting. Exodus 35 v 20-21.

Our existing Church buildings are old and in need of major renovation to provide the space and facilities needed for the 21st century. An investigation showed that the upgrade work would be very expensive and would only provide limited improvement.

After prayerful consideration in 2001 we felt the Lord was leading us to build a new Church.

Outline planning for redevelopment of the site has been approved.

WE NEED YOU…

Thank you for your very generous support so far, both practically and financially, we really do appreciate all the efforts made by so many.
More important than physical support though is prayer support and we ask you all to continue to pray that God will help us create a building that will bring glory to His name and help extend His Kingdom here in Somerset.
If you haven’t come to any of our fund raising events yet, we do hope to see you soon as we work together, in God’s will, to make our vision of a new church building, a reality.

Land Fund Appeal:

Thank the Lord that due to the generous giving of the fellowship £180,000 for the land purchase was paid in full by 30th March 2009.

Please keep giving as we require approximately £1,400,000 to complete the build of the new Church

Progress report - The land has now been purchased in full.

The car park has been extended a little and

the rest of the land has been cleared of undergrowth, levelled

and seeded with grass seed to provide a recreational area.
